Internship Spotter
See where every internship application stands, without digging through your inbox.
Free. The app is not yet code-signed, so Windows may show a warning: choose More info, then Run anyway.
What it does
Internship Spotter runs on your own computer. After you sign in with Google, it searches your Gmail for internship-related emails from the current month (campus announcements, application confirmations, interview invitations, offers and rejections) and lists each one as a card with its subject, date, sender, status, whether the sender is inside or outside your college, and a link that opens the email in Gmail.
How it uses your Google data
- It asks for one permission: read-only access to Gmail (
gmail.readonly). It cannot send, change or delete any email. - It reads matching emails only to find the company, role, status and date, using fixed rules on your computer. No AI model reads your mail.
- Results are saved only in a local database on your computer. Email bodies are not stored.
- Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party. The only connections are from your computer to Google.
Internship Spotter's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
